 Human Resources Manager

We are currently looking to hire a Human Resources Manager to join the team in office in Egypt. The Human Resources Manager reports to the Managing Director with accountability to the People & Culture Director fro the Group and will be responsible for:


  • Planning, directing and coordinating all HR practices and activities pertaining to employee related functions, governance and legislative compliance.
  • Championing the company mission, vision, values, as well as business and strategic plan objectives.
  • Fostering the company culture and embedding effective methods of empowerment through responsibility and building employee ownership of the company.

Key responsiblities include: 


  • Ensures the provision of high quality and consistent operational HR advice and consultancy services to all levels of management and employees.
  • Providing expert input into the development, implementation and application of best practice human resource management processes, programs and initiatives.
  •  Participating in the application of company policies and procedures.
  • Participating in the provision of information and training to line managers and employees on contemporary, accountable people management issues, and legislative compliance requirements.
  •  Ensuring the activities of the HRM services are customer focused by adhering to the provisions of relevant legislation related to the law and company policies.
  • Leading the Performance Review and Development Program.

We are looking for a candidate with significant experience in providing expert operational advice to senior management on a range of general HR matters, including representing the organisation during complex employee relations processes. 


The HR Manager will have experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of best practice policies, procedures, strategies and/or initiatives designed to improve HR management practices. 


Skills & Abilities

 

  • At least 5 years HR related experience.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven abilities to communicate effectively and concisely in writing.
  •  High level organisational, time management and administrative capabilities.
  • Maintains confidentiality, privacy and sensitivity at all times.
  • Ability to work independently, under broad direction and lead a team to achieve agreed outcomes.
  • Ability to analyse and solve complex situations and problems, and apply practical people management principles and solutions to business situations.
  • Leadership skills and management skills with the ability to motivate and influence others in an environment of change.
  • High level of interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills including the ability to compile concise written advice on complex and politically sensitive issues.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management would be desirable. 
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
