JOB PURPOSE:

To contribute, in cooperation with the company strategic Directions in liaison with (BUs, medical, market access, regulatory, …) to enhance the company image and reputation
To develop and maintain the company's corporate image (internally and externally) and develop the different communication tactics according each target audience when it comes to product communications
Implement transformational mindset in all communications activities to support business objectives.
To build trust, preserve and develop the reputation of Sanofi as a patient centric organization
To build and manage strategic relationships in order to leverage business, advocate Sanofi added values to deliver full services offer for medical community and patients, support the business in attaining its commercial and market share objectives, and contribute to the development of our growth platforms and key products
Build a strong product communication strategy and TAs campaigns that deliver expertise to position Sanofi as leader in certain TAs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Product Communications

Define the communication orientations for each of the therapeutic areas in close collaboration with BUs Draft SANOFI product press releases. Contribute to product communication during Conferences and major SANOFI events transversally with BUs to ensure corporate branding consistency Support BU in organizing forums dedicated to product presentations Provide internal information on product data and product/therapeutic area events Contribute to Crisis Communication for all product-related situations

Corporate initiatives

Keep the employees up-to-date with both globally and locally news (campaigns, events, employees benefit, SOPs, etc…) to enhance their engagement & proudness being Sanofian Conveying the Group and the company's strategy & objectives to all employees. In the framework of the corporate communications strategy, develops and implements an image and reputation strategy for a specific scope, with goal of maximizing the image and the reputation of the company, particularly towards external stakeholders.

INTERNET

Manage the design and posting online on www.sanofi.com
In conjunction with the web team, create, adapt, improve and optimize the website
Validate the content with the various Departments concerned.
Define guidelines that applies to the affiliate Internet site, to support affiliate’s image.
Work closely and consistently with the Group Information Systems Department, in order to continuously implement technological advances.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Develop a yearly plan for each medium to fit the set of communication plan for external communications to enhance the company image & reputation in liaise with the communication team members
Develop & monitor Sanofi’ social media, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn while applying the IVC regulations.
Issue the regular reports for the social media monitoring for management
Anticipate crisis issues on social media
Develop/maintain social media profiles and quality content for his/her TA or projects.
Explore and find out new trends for social media that can have an impactful communication on Sanofi’s image

Corporate Social Responsibility

Translate Sanofi Sustainability programs to design, build and implement multidisciplinary corporate citizenship projects in the fields of Education, Skills Development, Health & Wellbeing, Social Innovation, Economic Empowerment and Entrepreneurship.

Others:

To support the Head of the Dep in the approval cycle system and ensure all communications adhere to the organization’s style and corporate guidelines.
Development of strong working relationships to get a good understanding of all activities going on, collect key priorities and identify any communication gaps that need to be addressed
Provide support to Heads of Department with the preparation of presentations and materials as required
Respect of company’s values, code of ethics and social charter.
Respect of personal data protection charter.
Responsible for applying the HSE related requirements for the company in all related working procedures.

Skills, Experience & Knowledge Requirements

Relevant Bachelor degree preferable - Mass-communication or Medical Background.
Min 7 years of experience in pharma industry in similar position.
Excellent communication skills, English and Arabic written and spoken and ability to “tell a story”.
Demonstrate understanding of the product communication plan and CSR strategy.
Strong team spirit, active listening
Interpersonal skills and ability to influence and build relationships internally and externally
Strong presentation and management skills
Experience of managing stakeholder relationships at a senior level
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Creativity and innovative mindset.
