Business Development Manager - Gas Division



We are currently looking to hire an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to drive customer revenue and margin growth within the Egyptian Natural gas sector. You will be identifying and developing all key sector projects, contacts, and market influencers across the AVK group portfolio of brands and solutions, and reporting to the Sales Director.

The tasks include, but are not limited to;

Key responsibilities

·Manage, coordinate, and deliver sustainable growth within the Egyptian Natural Gas sector, achieving pre-agreed budgets and objectives for designated customer base and region.

·Working within a CRM environment ensuring robust management of all sector contacts, key activities, customer reporting, and market mapping.

·Full identification, tracking, and management of all Gas sector projects within the Egyptian Natural Gas market managed and coordinated within the organization CRM system.

·Identify and secure relationships with new sector contacts and influencers.

·Develop customer/product strategic plans in an agreed format, in conjunction with Commercial and Business Development Teams, for achievement within a set timescale.

·Respond to and follow up on all sales inquiries using appropriate methods.

·Responsible for the coordination of commercial terms and securing customer payments in company policy.

·Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development

·Provide accurate monthly market forecasting

·Carry out annual customer surveys as required by the business

·Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills

·This function captures all aspects of the business relationship. As such the position requires overall management and awareness of Turnover, Product Mix, Project Management, Payment, Pricing, Entertainment, and KPI’s. This is not an exhaustive list but demonstrates the position requirement of the management of the total business relationship.

·Ensure you show regard for people

·Ensure Company procedures are always followed

·Adhere to health and safety regulations, and other requirements relating to the care of equipment

Education, Skills & Requirements

Appropriate commercial/technical educational background (Engineering / Commercial)
5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment and technical sales.
Experienced with sales to the Egyptian Natural Gas sector, and a sound understanding of technical products, preferably valves and fittings.
·Proven experience and track records of technical sales, distribution management, and managing an existing customer base.

·Experienced in working under own initiative, demonstrating an ability to set and meet personal targets.

·Interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to customer service.

·Ability to organize and prioritize workload, maintain confidentiality, and produce/process documents accurately

·A flexible, forward-thinking approach to work, along with the ability to work as part of a team

Able to provide technical training to customers and end clients.
Relationship builder.
Experienced with overall sales responsibilities.
Experience with timely and thorough reporting and forecasts.
Fluent in English and Arabic (written and verbal)
User skills (MS Office – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
Competent user of ERP and CRM systems
Egyptian national
